Great Blue Hole is a diving site that I had always looked forward to. This famous dive in the Western Hemisphere has been so alluring for me that I even underwent some special training to make the exploration a worthy venture. Great Blue Hole is perhaps the hardest dive in terms of depth and compression. The hole looks really dark blue because of its deeper nature. The holes walls are made of light-coloured limestone and it‘s depth probably exceeds its width by little. The hole’s shape is not exactly circular, particularly because of the presence of the big coral growths near its mouth.
