Located fifteen miles south of Vanau Levu, the second largest island of Fiji in the South Pacific Ocean, the Namena Barrier Reef extends into the Koro Sea. Right at the centre of the lagoon lies the dragon-shaped island of Namena. Namena lies in the migratory path of whale and dolphin species and is aligned with islands where turtles lay their eggs. There are also about 400 different types of coral found on the reef besides thousands of fish species like jacks and barracudas. Diving at North Save-A-Tack North Save-A-Tack is one of the best diving sites in Fiji. It is located about 24 km south west of Savusavu on Vanua Levu.
